Hello, my name is Jim.

I’ve been in the wood trade for 20 plus years now but I’ve only been turning for around 3 years. I love it! When I start to turn a pen and see the grain transform it’s fantastic. And when I put it all together to make the pen complete I’m just blown away. Who would’ve thought the boy who at school who “would never amount to anything” and yet here I and making lovely art and loving every minute of it. I use the finest materials and kits also I try my best to use timber from a sustainable source.
