This is a beautiful bowl made from a piece of spalted beach wood
Spalting is any form of wood coloration caused by fungi and is the visible aftermath of fungi wars. Once the fungi have exhausted themselves, they leave battle scars of black zone lines and shades of colouration from yellows to purples blues and reds. These add interest and beauty to the wood .
it measures at around 21 cm x 8.5 cm
Finished in a food safe oil , so it can hold foods like popcorn , crisps .
to clean wipe with a damp cloth do not submerge in water , not dishwasher safe .
can be re-oiled with a chopping board oil to keep it moisture resistant
